Fundamentals of scientific Debate & Critical Thinking:
*What do you think of this statement?
We want the development of modal
model citizen students who can think
critically and creatively who are able to
solve problems and
have ability to adapt themselves to an ever
changing global environment.
*There are many students who are
educated but few who can think out of the box?
To think out of the box ----> to
think out of the study books:
-Intellectual person.
-The aim of study is just to pass exams.
-Education system.
-The system focuses only on highest
& lowest marks obtained by students and ignoring the creative side of students.
-The preference of individuals
varies and also intellectual level.
-It`s easy to access information
media (internet, newspaper, TV & SAT., radio, books, etc. …).
All students get education,
students study facts only to pass "application", because the system
"analysis".
Synthesis: The system is not
leading to creatively in thinking.
*Class Activity:-
Some students think that Water
Resources subject is a lower level thinking subject that only requires basic knowledge
and simple integration. But other students in the class don`t agree and think
that Water Resources requires application, analysis, synthesis of information
to reach a final conclusion.

5- Information Easily memorized.

5-Difficulty of distinguishing between the
instruments that are used for measuring.

6-Equation used for calculation is difficult.
